Capetonians and tourists will soon experience a special fundraiser event that will celebrate history, music, culture and people in aid of our iconic beach huts in Muizenberg.

We are hosting an entertaining evening in collaboration with Noon Gun Brewery and Cape Portrait wines from Durbanville Hills, on Friday, 10 February 2023, from 17:00-22:00 at Muizenberg’s local brewery, Noon Gun, in Capricorn Business Park.

The brewery will have craft beer and premixed gin on offer, and all proceeds raised from the beer and gin on tap will go towards the Beach Hut Trust to preserve, protect and promote the historic huts.

Visitors can also taste the Cape Portrait wines from Durbanville Hills, enjoy some local food and be entertained by the local band, Dukes of Note. Describing themselves as a carnival rock band that thrives on the thrill of live performance and brings imagination and music to life, the Dukes of Note is known for their unique performances.

Noon Gun Brewery’s brand is firmly embedded in Cape Town’s history. The team is passionate about supporting the preservation of our historical Beach Huts with Durbanville Hills, who has partnered with us since 2021. This event will offer great local food and drink while saving our Beach Huts.”
